Lauren Cason – Piano (Faculty Member Since 2016):  Lauren Cason is a native of South Carolina and a lifelong pianist.  She holds a Master’s of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from North Greenville University.   Lauren has taught in private studios in Nashville, New York City, and Georgia.  She also taught privately at Piano Central Studios and North Greenville University in Greenville, SC.  Lauren has taught all ages and skill levels and appreciates the individualities of each student.  She has extensive experience studying, teaching, and playing both classical and contemporary piano styles.  She has also maintained an active career as a pianist for various musicals, choirs, and instrumentalists.  Lauren enjoys making music with her husband, Tyler, who also teaches at the Music Academy of WNC.
