The Music Academy of WNC is offering an orchestral string instrument maintenance workshop for middle and high school violin, viola, and cello students.  Topics covered include string changing, proper tuning, bridge placement and positioning, bow maintenance, how to notice major repair issues, what to look for in purchasing an instrument, and MUCH MORE!   The workshop is taught by Music Academy String Faculty member and instrument luthier Matthew Pierce (Cello).  Workshops are limited to the first 15 registrations.  All participants should bring their instrument and bow.  Workshop is held in the Music Academy rehearsal room.  Please register on the form below.
