Holidays & Closings

The Music Academy of WNC will hold a “Virtual Day” due to inclement weather and close our facilities for in-person private music lessons, classes, and ensembles for Monday, January 17, 2022. Music Academy Faculty members will contact their students directly and conduct all lessons today on one of our supported online lesson formats at the student’s regularly scheduled lesson time. Students should review our online lesson formats, from our Studio Policies  (Paragraph 15), and discuss which one works best to connect with their teacher for today’s lesson. Stay warm and safe!

The Music Academy of WNC would like to welcome back our faculty, staff, and students from our annual Christmas/New Year’s break. Let’s make it a musical 2022!

The Music Academy will be closed for private lessons, ensembles, and classes from Sunday, December 19, 2021 through Sunday, January 2, 2022. We will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Just a reminder the Music Academy is closed this week for all private lessons, music classes, and ensembles and will reopen on Monday, November 29, 2021. The Music Academy will be closed for in-person private music lessons due to inclement weather for Thursday, February 18, 2021. All private lessons will be held virtually. Music Academy faculty will reach out to their students to confirm their virtual lesson times today.

The Music Academy of WNC will be CLOSED today, Friday, January 8, 2021 for in-person private lessons. All lessons will be conducted on the student’s chosen online lesson format with their instructor. Students should reach out directly to their instructor with any connectivity questions. Stay safe and have a great weekend.

The Music Academy will be open on Friday, February 21, 2020 on a regular schedule. If road conditions prohibit travel to lessons then please contact your instructor directly to schedule a make-up lesson.

The Music Academy of WNC will be closed on Thursday, February 20, 2020 due to inclement weather.  There will be no private lessons, music classes, or ensembles.  Private lesson faculty will contact and schedule make-up lessons directly with their students.  Stay safe and warm.

The Music Academy will operate on a regular schedule today for Tuesday, January 29, 2019. If road conditions are too hazardous to travel in your area then please contact your instructor directly to schedule a make-up lesson. Drive safely and we will see you this afternoon.

The Music Academy of WNC will be closed Saturday, December 22, 2018 through Sunday, January 6, 2019 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.  There will be no private lessons, ensembles, or music classes held during these weeks.  We will reopen on January 7, 2019 on a regular schedule for all private lessons, ensembles, and music classes.  Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
