Our Piano/Voice/Woodwinds Recital has been moved to Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Our Strings Recital has also been moved to the same day at 4:30 PM. Both recitals will be held in the Music Academy of WNC Recital Hall at 235 Duncan Hill Road in Hendersonville.

The Music Academy of WNC will hold its annual Spring Student Guitar Recital on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the recital hall at the Music Academy of WNC in Hendersonville. Here is a preview from our 2014 recital. The Music Academy of WNC is currently accepting new guitar students. Please give us a call at (828) 693-3726 if you are interested in guitar lessons. We teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages.
Music Academy Recitals Are May 15-16, 2015
Our annual Music Academy of WNC Spring Recitals will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 (6:30 PM for guitar), Saturday, May 16, 2015 (2:00 PM for piano, voice, woodwinds, and brass), and Saturday, May 16, 2015 (4:30 PM for violin, viola, and cello). All recitals will be held in the Music Academy of WNC recital hall at 235 Duncan Hill Road in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Congratulations To Viola Student, Daphne Bickley
We are VERY PROUD of Daphne Bickley, viola student of Jan Daugherty, for placing third in the 2015 Young Artist Competition hosted by the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra. The 2015 Young Artist Competition Awards will be presented Saturday, May 2nd at the Symphony’s final concert of the season at 7:30 PM on the Flat Rock campus of Blue Ridge Community College. Daphne is also a member of the Music Academy of WNC’s Academy String Quartet. CONGRATULATIONS Daphne!!!
