The Music Academy of WNC is offering a three-hour workshop for intermediate and advanced guitar players on understanding and applying the diatonic modes for improvisation purposes.  This workshop will include the theory and structure behind each diatonic mode, the chords and extensions each mode creates, the pentatonic scale options found within each mode, the three note per string patterns found on the guitar for each mode, and modal options over minor 7, major 7, and dominant 7 chords.  This workshop is taught by Michael Ridenour.  Workshop is held in the Music Academy rehearsal room.  Please register on the form below.
