“Thinking Outside the Box” Guitar Workshop (Intermediate to Advanced Guitar Players).  This workshop is for intermediate to advanced guitar players and will cover fretboard navigation utilizing the five pentatonic shapes.  Extended and “sweepable” arpeggios as well as diatonic scales/modes will be placed within each of these pentatonic shapes for greater freedom in playing up and down the neck (getting outside individual pentatonic shapes and boxes) which allows for expanded improvisational options.   The workshop will meet on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.  Workshop is taught by Mike Ridenour (M.M. Guitar Performance).  Workshop materials are included in tuition price.  Tuition:  $25.00.  Please register HERE.
